Corrosion-Resistant Line Pipes

DESCRIPTION / APPLICATION

A new corrosion-resistant line pipe is now available for extended life in different exposure environments. This product is made available by the electro-deposition of a corrosion-resistant, low-friction, wear-resistant layer bonded at the atomic level onto the surface of conventional line pipes used in the O&G industry for transportation of hydrocarbons or other fluids and gases.This cobalt-based formula has been utilized extensively in the aerospace industry by its developer, Honeywell, and is now available for pipes and tubulars used in the O&G sector. The electro-depositional layer does not have any holes or microcracks, has a high bonding strength and supersedes the competition in regards to anti-corrosion properties. Production and downstream segments will now benefit from extended life of their pipe infrastructure.
