DESCRIPTION / APPLICATION

This revolutionary product is made available by the electro-deposition of a corrosion-resistant, low-friction, wear-resistant layer bonded at the atomic level onto the surface of standard PDM rotors. The cobalt-based formula has been utilized extensively in the aerospace industry by its developer, Honeywell.The electro-depositional layer does not have any holes or microcracks, as seen in most common alternatives, and it has a high bonding strength. Enhanced rotors extend the life and operating hours of PDMs regardless if you are a manufacturer or a rental company.

OPERATION

When these special rotors are used, the rotor / stator coupling is enhanced and the service life is extended dramatically. Newly manufactured rotors can have the cobalt plating applied or used rotors can be renewed and electroplated.

CHARACTERISTICS
  1. Corrosion-Resistance: its anti-corrosion properties can be used in H2S, CO2 and high chloride environments

  3. Drag Reduction: less friction between the rotor and polymer stator
